We are on the lookout for a talented Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Manager to lead our digital delivery processes in the Advanced Manufacturing sector. Although this role allows flexibility in home office location, being near a Jacobs U.S. office is ideal.

In this influential position, you will take charge of VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management, ensuring alignment between technologies and our internal and client objectives. You'll be responsible for defining the digital delivery scope for project estimates, coordinating technical setups, and overseeing model deliverables. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing comprehensive BIM Execution Plans for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM).
• Integrating VDC tasks such as 3D logistics and safety planning, 4D scheduling, and 5D cost management.
• Managing the Common Data Environment with Autodesk Construction Cloud, leading clash detection efforts, and facilitating clash resolution meetings.
• Acting as a BIM Subject Matter Expert to guide project teams in both design and construction phases.
• Overseeing laser scan data integration and leading Scan to BIM initiatives.
• Managing model redline and as-built processes, verifying construction installations using model-based practices.
• Conducting training for field employees and providing support for software and mobile applications.

You will also engage in stakeholder collaboration, serving as a key digital delivery lead during design and construction projects. This includes consulting in business development, managing trade partner modeling efforts, and ensuring quality throughout the construction process.

Your role will extend to supporting team development through training material creation and mentorship. You will provide on-site leadership by coordinating VDC activities with field operations and owning the on-site VDC processes.

• Qualifications:
• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies within manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven experience in leading VDC activities on-site.
• A collaborative mindset suitable for a fast-paced project environment.
• Experience in developing and executing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willingness to work on-site at a project near Baton Rouge, LA.
• Preferably:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
