The Role: Senior Real World Data Analytic Consultant

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and passionate expert in Real World Data (RWD) and the pharmaceutical industry to join our RWD Engagement Team as a Senior Analytic Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive on uncovering insights from RWD to address complex client challenges.

This position has been created in response to the growing demand for Norstella's innovative RWD service offerings, utilizing our unified Real World Data asset, NorstellaLinQ—a unique blend of claims, lab, social determinants of health (SDOH), and electronic medical record (EMR) data. You will become part of an organization committed to innovation and excellence, perfectly aligned to the needs of our biopharmaceutical and life sciences clientele. As part of a high-performing team, you will creatively deliver solutions that ensure patients gain access to necessary therapies.

This role necessitates a blend of business acumen, analytical, technical, and commercial skills to effectively implement Norstella's RWD solutions. Our offering includes cutting-edge data solutions and expert advisory services paired with advanced technologies such as real-world data analytics, machine learning, and predictive analytics. A strong comprehension of the US healthcare ecosystem is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of complex RWD engagements in the life sciences sector, utilizing Norstella's comprehensive Real World Data asset.
  • Develop and implement advanced SQL queries for data extraction, cleansing, and analysis from extensive relational databases, ensuring data precision and quality.
  • Conduct detailed analyses using healthcare data sources, including claims, lab results, EMR/EHR, and SDOH data, to derive actionable insights and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through challenges by offering insights derived from RWD analyses.
  • Take ownership of large analytical projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Mentor junior consultants, cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Contribute actively to the development of Norstella's RWD offerings through the integration of innovative techniques like predictive analytics.
  • Represent Norstella in crucial client meetings, presenting findings and leading executive-level discussions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with RWD (e.g., open/closed claims, APLD, lab data, EMR/EHR, hospital chargemaster, billing codes, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of the life sciences industry and the US healthcare ecosystem.
  • Proven success in delivering client-facing projects and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Expertise in SQL and advanced data analysis, with familiarity in predictive modeling and machine learning preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a knack for mentoring and inspiring others.

The expected base salary ranges from $130,000 to $140,000. Salary offers are tailored based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, as applicable, licensure or certifications. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to the competitive salary, successful candidates will have access to a discretionary bonus.
