Job Summary

Premier Restoration Hawaii is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support and oversee daily accounting operations for our growing restoration and construction business. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes across multiple entities.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and transactional activities in compliance with GAAP
  • Process vendor invoices and customer payments across multiple QuickBooks Online companies
  • Review daily bank and credit card feeds; perform month-end bank reconciliations
  • Manage job costing, inventory rollforwards, and expense coding to the general ledger
  • Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and cash receipts
  • Prepare and support monthly Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) filings
  • Prepare month-end balance sheet and P&L analytics, including variance analysis
  • Support ERP and system integrations (QuickBooks Online, Ramp, IntegraRental, DASH, and others)
  • Supervise and support accounting staff, including reviewing work for accuracy and timeliness
  • Participate in accounting projects, system enhancements, and process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
  • CPA or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of public or general accounting experience
  • 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and integrated accounting systems
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Work Environment

  • Office/Warehouse setting
  • Minimal travel required

Job Type: In-OfficeFull-time, Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (no remote work option)
