Description

Supervises the holding inventory of the Warehouse to ensure accountability for all inventory items. Maintains an organized and secured area with limited access. Assist the Buyer and Manager with maintaining adequate levels of inventory and operational needs. Assist the Department Manager in enforcing department/inventory policies and maintaining a consistent and high-quality Warehouse/inventory image. Maintains records such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials received or delivered.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares received orders for assigned employees to tag.
• Maintains a secure and organized area for inventory physically and in the system.
• Verifies counted and tagged merchandise with what has been charged on an invoice/pick slip.
• Fulfills and transfers inventory items to different venues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Have good knowledge of the various activities and services provided at the Polynesian Cultural Center and excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a forklift and other equipment stored and used within the maintenance department.
• Be in good health, capable of a full range of body movement and able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Fluent in the English language in both oral and written communication.
• Able to use a personal computer and be familiar with the following software programs including but not limited to; Microsoft Office, Ariett, Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, and FMX.
• One year of proven Warehouse experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Fluency in a foreign language.

Work Schedule:
To Be Determined (40 Hours per week)

Base rate commensurate on skill and experience.
