Transformation Specialist - PMO + Process + Technical (2-3 Openings)
Location: Remote, United States
Duration: 12-24 Months
Employment Type: Contract

Support a pivotal global transformation project aimed at reducing operational costs, optimizing tax and treasury processes, and freeing capacity through smart automation and role alignment. The initiative involves implementing technological tools and streamlining existing operations to phase out obsolete tasks.
Role Responsibilities:
Project Management & Support:

  • Lead or assist in creating project governance frameworks and detailed execution plans.
  • Track progress, facilitate escalation processes, and conduct regular status reviews.
  • Coordinate project meetings and prepare summary reports for executive review.
  • Advise teams on effective use of tools like Power Platform, Wdesk, and Alteryx.
Process & Change Management:
  • Support the design of the future organizational structure and update core process documents, including RACI matrices, SOPs, and job descriptions.
  • Drive alignment across departments, plan training activities, and prepare documentation for transitions or exits.
  • Contribute to the development of an updated taxonomy and communication frameworks.
Technical Enablement:
  • Guide teams in using Power Automate, Power Apps, Wdesk, and Alteryx to streamline processes.
  • Work with business units to gather requirements and deliver secure, scalable custom workflows.
  • Execute testing plans to ensure compliance with business rules and quality standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, configuration logs, and architecture references.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience across project management, process optimization, and technology implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Wdesk, and/or Alteryx.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple business units.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience in finance, tax, or treasury process optimization.
  • Familiarity with business case reduction strategies and operational efficiency modeling.
