Project Scheduler - Primavera P6

Key Responsibilities

  • Primavera P6 Scheduler
  • Schedule Creation and Management
    • Build initial project schedules in Primavera P6
    • Include governed milestones and gates
    • Include detailed activities (when required)
  • Manage Project Schedules
    • Conduct schedule variance analysis between current schedule and baseline
    • Monitor construction progress and revise current schedule in accordance with changes, delays, or accelerations
    • Progress schedule through milestone-based governance (senior management approval of schedule progression)
  • Analytics
    • Run analytics reports documenting schedule related risks & variances
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications and able to run reports in Excel, and manipulate associated dashboards and databases
    • Able to use Power BI reports
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • P6 experience in construction industry projects, preferably utility
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction project life-cycle as it pertains to schedules:
    • Baselines, milestones, governing project changes
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft applications and working knowledge of Power BI
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
Experience Level
  • 3 years' experience in construction project scheduler role
  • Utility experience preferred, construction industry experience a must
Location and Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Allentown, PA, this position offers a dynamic work environment with a remote hybrid model (2 to 3 days per week in the office, possibly Tuesday through Thursday mandatory). Enjoy the balance of remote work and in-office collaboration.
