Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

As a DSP, you'll play a key role in helping participants achieve their personal goals, grow their independence, and engage with their community. You'll provide hands-on support in participants' homes, at community programs, and during activities that enrich daily life, helping them build skills and confidence while fostering meaningful relationships.
What You'll Do / Day-to-Day

A Direct Support Professional's responsibilities vary depending on participant needs. Typical duties include:

  • Assisting with daily routines and activities, tailored to individual goals and preferences
  • Supporting skill-building, personal growth, and goal achievement
  • Helping participants participate in community, educational, recreational, or social activities
  • Providing a consistent, compassionate presence and building trusting relationships
  • Documenting progress and sharing updates with the team
Qualifications

No experience? No problem! We're looking for compassionate, motivated individuals and provide full training to set you up for success. Required qualifications:
  • 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED (or ability to demonstrate key skills)
  • CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record
  • Tuberculosis clearance (Full Life will assist with this)

  • Starting Pay: $20.00/hr (part-time) or $22.50/hr (full-time)
  • Training Pay: $18.00/hr
