Performs construction related repairs and refurbishing of Company controlled properties./ppstrongEssential Duties/Functions:/strong/pulliResponsible for the completion of maintenance service requests as assigned./liliCompletes detailed records of work performed./liliAccomplishes maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of fuel dispensing systems, environmental monitoring equipment and associated hardware./liliConducts maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of car wash systems./liliPerforms component level troubleshooting and repair./liliInstalls, troubleshoots and repairs POS systems and related hardware./liliInstalls, troubleshoots and maintains security surveillance systems./liliConducts general inspection and upkeep of facilities./liliMaintains imaging of convenience stores by performing landscaping, cleaning of grounds, corrosion prevention, painting, etc./liliMaintains imaging of fuel dispensers by cleaning, polishing, replacing hand warmers, decals, etc./liliPerforms general repairs of stores fixtures such as counters, doors, etc./liliPerforms general upkeep of electrical fixtures, including light fixtures, etc./liliPerforms minor maintenance of fuel dispensers (i.e., replacement of fuel hoses, swivels, nozzles, etc.)/liliPerforms minor electrical troubleshooting on convenience store fixtures./liliMaintains and repair customer convenience items (i.e., vacuum pumps, air compressors, etc.)/liliResponsible to alerting supervisor of any unusual incident and/or damage involving personnel, customers and/or property./liliNotes any observed safety hazards or concerns and reports them promptly to management./liliComplies with established safety standards during the accomplishment of tasks, including, but not limited to the review of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)./li/ulpstrongDaily Duties:/strong/pulliResponds to trouble calls as assigned./liliCompletes detailed records of work performed./li/ulpstrongPeriodic Duties:/strong/pulliConducts inventory of spare parts, tools or equipment./liliAssigned rotating On-Call Duty to respond to after-hours trouble calls./li/ulpstrongOccasional Duties:/strong/pulliPerforms other related duties as may be assigned./li/ulpstrongQualification Requirements:/strong/ppstrongSkills/Knowledge:/strong/pulliKnowledge of methods, practices, tools and materials used in the general maintenance and repair of facilities and fuel dispensing systems./liliKnowledge of occupational hazards and appropriate safety precautions./liliAbility to recognize safety hazards in the work place and apply precautionary methods to protect self and others./liliAbility to work independently on tasks assigned./liliSkilled in the use and care of hand tools, metering devices, power tools, gauges, etc./liliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders./liliKnowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work./liliBasic computer skills preferred./liliAbility to conduct on-the-job training of personnel./liliAbility to read electrical and systems schematics./liliMust have a clean driving abstract./li/ulpstrongEducation/Training:/strong/pulliType (3) Hawaii State Drivers License or equivalent with a clean traffic abstract./liliHigh school graduate or G.E.D. certificate./liliAttends training classes as required./li/ulpstrongExperience:/strong/pulli2 years experience in maintenance or related trade./li/ulpstrongReports To:/strong/pulliMaintenance Supervisor Facilities Services./liliMaintenance Coordinator for daily dispatch and work assignments./li/ulpstrongEquipment Use:/strong/pulliFrequent use of Company vehicle./liliFrequent use of painting tools and materials, ladders, stools, paint stripper, sanding equipment, safety equipment, and other objects and materials to complete tasks./liliOccasional use of hand/power tools, and mechanical/electronic equipment./liliOccasional operation of forklift and man-lift after completion of certification training./liliUse of computer, printer, copier, fax machine and telephone./liliWear Company supplied uniform (shirts and pants) during working hours and as prescribed./liliWear safety shoes during working hours and as prescribed./liliWear Company supplied personal protective equipment as required by job tasks./li/ulpstrongWork Hours:/strong/pulliTypically Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Adjusted or extended hours as required by operational needs./liliAvailable to work any shift during a 24-hour period including weekends and holidays./li/ulpstrongMental Demands:/strong/pulliAbility to perform with attention to detail, concentration and alertness./liliOccasional use of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication or division)./li/ulpstrongPhysical Demands:/strong/pulliAbility to lift, pull, push and/or carry up to 80 lbs./liliAbility to walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
