Housekeepers play an important role our home-away-from-home experience for each of our Guests every day. The Housekeeping role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all hotel property Guest rooms which includes cleaning full kitchen areas, bathrooms, balconies, bedrooms, closets, furniture, art décor, windows, create special touches, placing special amenities and collateral in rooms, and changing linens and overall upkeep of guest rooms.

Housekeeper (AM/PM)- cleans approximately 14 units per day, which includes: making beds, cleaning bathrooms and dusting furnitureVacuuming and edging carpets, including underneath all furniture, and removing carpet "spots"Clean and touch up windows, walls and baseboardsClean patios/balconies, walls, floors and furnitureCleaning of entrance of room including front and back of entrance door, surrounding wall area.Includes cleaning coffee filtersStock cart/baskets and take inventory of amenities/linen/terry needed to replenish roomsDeep cleaning of entire room and bathrooms on specified daysPerform nightly turndown duties for VIP level and specified guests

Flexible/Adaptable-may work in a variety of areas, conditions and/or have changing start/end timesProactive-immediately communicates concerns and reacts to situationsMust use Personal Protective Equipment (i.e., power equipment/tools and disinfectants, degreasing chemicals and all cleaning productsSome roles require additional specialized training in both procedure and ergonomic principlesEnthusiastic about interacting and helping guestsSelf directed and able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining qualityTypically works alone in guest rooms for most of the shift

Enjoys cleaningPrevious experience in a cleaning environment (previous housekeeping, kitchen/restaurant or other busy cleaning environments)Previous experience in a self directed role requiring little follow up /supervisionKnowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language preferred

Part-Time: Must be available for a minimum of 3 full days of availability, including the weekend.
