divh2Maintenance Tech 3/h2pBased in Honolulu, HI/ppThe Maintenance Tech 3 is responsible for inspections, tests, maintenance, and service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications and leading small projects./ppDuties Responsibilities/pulliPerforms routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft/liliEnsures proper care of customer property through all phases of work/liliAccurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor/liliLeads small projects/liliMakes technical decisions regarding discrepancies and job flow/liliUtilizes outside resources as authorized/liliContinually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box/liliUtilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work tasks/liliPerforms other duties as directed/li/ulpQualifications Job Requirements/pulliMinimum two years experience working with general aviation airframes/liliTwo years Pilatus PC-12 experience desirable/liliAdvanced troubleshooting abilities/liliBroad knowledge of aircraft systems/liliLeadership, Quality, or sheet metal experience desirable./li/uldivEducation:/divulliAirframe and Powerplant Certification required/li/ulpOther Prerequisites/pulliPass pre-employment drug screen and background check/liliAbility to obtain Airport Issued security badge/liliValid Drivers License/liliMaintain personal tool box containing standard hand tools/liliRead, write and comprehend the English language/liliAbility to travel to the mainland as required for training/liliAbility to travel to other islands as required for AOG recovery/li/ulpWork Environment/pulliWork is performed in an aircraft hangar environment with moderate noise level. The employee is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
