General Laborer

We are seeking dedicated General Laborers to support a project on the USS Hopper at Pearl Harbor. The role involves manual labor tasks such as transporting materials to various worksites on the ship and ensuring daily clean-up of all supported areas.

Responsibilities

1. Transport materials to designated worksites on the ship.
2. Perform daily clean-up of all areas involved in the project.
3. Handle various manual labor tasks as required.
4. Use hand tools for construction-related tasks.
5. Assist with loading and unloading materials.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction or general labor.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Current DBIDS access to Dry Dock 4.
• Commitment to an 8-month contract.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with janitorial tasks.
• Ability to work day shifts and some weekends.
• Willingness to work overtime as required by the schedule.

Work Environment

You will be working on the surface ship USS Hopper at Pearl Harbor Dry Dock 4. The role involves day shifts, with some weekend work and overtime as required. The environment is fast-paced and safety-oriented, with all necessary tools and equipment provided. The dress code is appropriate for a construction and labor setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pearl City, HI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
