Health Insurance Call Center Representative
Pay: $20/hour Location: Kapolei or Ala Moana Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday (weekend/OT as needed)
Position Summary: We are seeking customer-focused Call Center Representatives to support a leading health insurance provider. This role involves handling inbound calls, assisting members with benefits questions, processing updates, and providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from members, providers, and partners regarding health plan benefits, eligibility, claims status, and coverage details.
- Document call interactions accurately in the system.
- Assist callers with plan changes, updating demographic information, and navigating online portals.
- Research and resolve member issues using internal systems and resources.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect confidential health information.
- Meet performance goals related to call quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors or specialized departments as needed.
- Provide professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented service.
Qualifications
- Previous call center or customer service experience preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare or health insurance
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and screens.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Environment
On-site position at Kapolei or Ala Moana office. Training provided. Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kapolei, HI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
