Adecco is recruiting Dishwashers in Kailua Hawaii. This position is a possible temp possible temp to hire opportunity with pay starting at $17.00 to $19/hour DOE.

Hours:

Hours 8:00 am to 3:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Monday thru Friday, plus weekends

Responsibilities for Dishwasher role include but are not limited to: 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prepare food following club recipes and standards.

· Prepares all required items.

· Set up service units with needed items. Prepares items that are ordered by established portions and presentation standards.

· Notifies sous chef of expected shortages.

· Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.

· Assists the sous chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen.

· Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times.

· Sets up, maintains, and breaks down prep cook station.

· Requisitions items needed to produce menu items. Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.

· Covers, dates, and neatly stores all leftover products that are reusable.

· Maintains the highest sanitary standards.

· Coordinates and times orders with other kitchen operations.

· Makes recommendations for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the line prep area and equipment.

· Attends staff meetings.

· Assists with other duties as assigned by the sous chef.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach.

· Push, pull, or lift to 50 pounds.

· Continuous repetitive motions.

· Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment

· Washes all wares in the dishwashing machine or by hand according to applicable food safety and other codes and regulations.

· Polishes all silverware, platters, and chafing dishes.

· Collects trash from kitchen areas; empties garbage cans and washes and re-lines with new bags; breaks down boxes, and crates, and removes debris.

· Examines garbage for misplaced silverware, dishes, glassware, and other reusable items.

· Washes and cleans receiving, trash, and other kitchen-related areas.

· Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.

· Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ensure that the kitchen area is always kept clean and tidy to prevent any health or safety hazards.

· Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans, and other small wares according to equipment operating requirements and the club's standard operating procedures.

· Report all accidents, illnesses, or “near-miss” incidents immediately to the manager on duty or supervisor.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
