Join us as a Product Engineer focused on customer deployments for Agentic Voice AI. You'll lead the deployment of next-generation Zoom Virtual Agents, utilizing LLMs and agentic frameworks to create highly automated conversational voice and chat agents tailored for strategic clients.

About the Team

The Zoom Virtual Agent team is passionate about building state-of-the-art conversational AI solutions that resolve customer issues efficiently. You will play a crucial role in developing metrics, intelligence, and evaluation systems that propel continuous improvement using advanced LLMs and data science.

Responsibilities

  • Design multi-step conversational workflows using agentic frameworks that enable LLM agents to perform complex tasks, including database interactions.
  • Optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for peak performance, ensuring low latency and minimal inaccuracies during real-time voice conversations.
  • Create and deploy custom full-stack applications using Python and JavaScript to connect the agent's decision-making with external customer systems like CRM and ERP.
  • Develop and refine advanced LLM prompts to guide conversations, maintain context, and ensure accurate tool usage in live voice interactions.
  • Engineer Text-to-Speech (TTS) components to fine-tune tone, pacing, and emphasis in alignment with context and brand identity.
  • Conduct A/B testing and monitor performance on TTS output to guarantee high audio quality and emotional resonance.
  • Act as the technical authority, collaborating directly with customer engineering and executive teams to align complex business objectives with agentic solutions.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of production deployments, continuously optimizing performance based on real-world voice traffic data.
  • Translate field challenges, LLM issues, and TTS needs into actionable insights for Core Engineering and Product teams to foster platform innovation.

What We're Looking For

  • Over three years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role focused on AI/ML or advanced technical SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying LLM solutions utilizing modern agentic frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of voice stack architectures and TTS integration, utilizing prompt engineering to manipulate audio qualities.
  • Experience in crafting and managing prompts that guide generative text and speech synthesis quality effectively.
  • Strong software development skills in Python, with familiarity in API integration and deployment within modern DevOps settings.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex AI concepts in clear, actionable terms for both technical teams and executives.

Salary Range:

Minimum: $98,900.00

Maximum: $228,700.00

Please note that compensation is determined by various factors including qualifications and experience.
