Under the direction of the Department Manager or designee, provides application support to user Departments. Acts as the key liaison between the business community, vendors and the IS Department. Responsible for Tier 2 support of applications. Translates customers high-level requirements into functional specifications for the IS Department and manages changes to such specifications. Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes and/or systems. Codes, defines criteria and performs testing, debugging and documents and maintains programs.
