Job Description:

• Under direct supervision, workers perform a variety of general field operations such as: Roguing: Walking down designated rows of corn, identifying, and cutting undesirable rouges and diseased plants.
• Planting and irrigation set-up: Help planting lead to secure drip irrigation tapes during planting and connecting irrigation lines after planting.
• Husk and Sort: Identify and sort out undesirable corn under direct supervision of the sorting lead. Shelling: Help shelling lead with the process where kernels are XX from the cobs through shelling equipment.
• Kernel cleaning process: After each material process, workers complete cleaning of equipment under the direct supervision of process leads.
• dditional manual labor tasks will be performed such as performs a variety of general manual labor tasks such as lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging and refilling holes, cutting grass, weeding, trimming, ground and field maintenance, and general janitorial services when needed.
• May operate small field equipment such as tractor, Polaris or Kubota with proper training.
