Customer Service/ Credit Specialist

Description:

Our client is seeking a Customer Service/ Credit Specialist II to join their team! This person will handle and be trained in the Credit, Customer Service, and Originations areas. Flexibility is essential in this role, as based upon volume and business requirements the specialist could work in any of the 3 areas with minimal notice: Credit, Customer Service, Loan Originations

Credit Specific:
• Answer inbound calls from the field teammates for the purpose of completing a credit decision. This role will be the first answer position from 5-9pm EST 4 days per week, and Saturday 12-9pm EST.
• Gain Knowledge and proficiency to be able to support the field when there is a question about how to run credit, what happened when your teammate completed the credit decision, and other support for troubleshooting.
• Update credit decision tracking spreadsheet.
• Complete ad hoc projects during breaks from inbound calls, typically 1-3 days in duration.

Customer Service:
• Answer inbound calls from customers regarding loan account balances, payments received, payments processing, payment due dates, and other customer requests. This role will be in Customer Service queue 12-5pm EST.
• Complete outbound welcome calls to newly setup customers.
• Gain knowledge and proficiency to be able to answer questions and provide resolutions to customers.
• Update tracking spreadsheets as needed.
• Communication skills and speaking with teammates on the phone or using Teams.

Loan Originations (no experience needed):
• Loan Application Compliance- Review loan documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Quality Checker- ensures all paperwork is submitted and completed properly.
• Balance and distribute purchase logs to branch personnel
• ServiceNow ticket processing

Required Skills & Experience
• High School Diploma/ GED
• Experience providing quality customer experience
• Detail oriented
• Multitasker
• Experience with Windows operating system and software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• 3 years: Business experience, preferably in lending customer service and internal teammate support

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bilingual in Spanish and English
