Tetra Tech is adding an Environmental Planner to provide permitting and compliance services within our thriving Energy Practice. We support a broad range of renewable energy technologies, conventional generation, electric transmission, and emerging technologies such as energy storage and smart grids.
This position is flexible on location but will be associated with either the Honolulu, HI or Portland, OR office.
This role supports land development and energy projects throughout Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, and the continental U.S., serving both public and private sector clients.

The Environmental Planner will support regulatory permitting and compliance for a wide range of development projects. The Planner will prepare permit applications, conduct environmental studies, support agency coordination, assist with public outreach, and collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams. This is a dynamic role requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.

Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $75,000-$90,000 yearly
There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
