Tuition paid upfront at network schoolsConsidering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.~ As a Houseperson, at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa you are responsible for supporting the Housekeeper with maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel property Guest rooms, assisting with delivery of Guest items and requests.Assists HousekeeperCleans/dusts corridors walls, base boards, vacuum carpets, clean windows, sanitize high touch areas and elevatorssweep and clean linen room/floor dailyClean vending and ice machines, DVC Trash and Recycle Rooms, Laundry Room floors, walls and baseboardsRemove trash and recycle materials to appropriate areas throughout the dayUtilize specialized housekeeping equipment (floor machines, extractors, etc.) Must use Personal Protective Equipment (boots, gloves, goggles), hand tools (mops, brooms), power equipment/toolsProactive (immediately communicates concerns and reacts to situations)Understands importance of Safety in all aspects of work performance and personal accountability for safe behaviorsEnthusiastic about interacting and helping Guests and CastAbility to drive small powered equipment (golf cart type vehicles, ride-on sweeper, etc.)Some roles require additional specialized training in both procedure and ergonomic principlesAble to read, write and speak the English languagePrevious experience cleaning - office buildings, hospitals, restaurants, etc.Basic computer knowledgeFull availability seven (7) days a week, including nights, weekends and holidays is preferredPrevious experience in a hospitality or tourism related role on the Hawaiian Islands preferredFull Time - Full availability is required seven (7) days per week, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.Part-Time: Must be available for a minimum of 3 full days of availability, including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
