Essential Functions for the Position:

Required to work alone and/or with minimal supervision to collect accurate load counts, time checks, and other data as required by Federal, State, and City agencies. Must be able to compile, analyze, and submit accurate reports of collected data. Complete other duties as assigned.

Special Knowledge & Skills:

• Must be able to type with speed and accuracy.
• Must be able to operate a calculator.
• Must have basic mathematical skills.
• Must be able to write legibly.
• Must possess good knowledge of the English grammar including spelling, punctuation, and sentence structuring skills.
• Must possess good knowledge of filing and general office procedures.

Education, Training & Experience:

• Must have two (2) years college, business school, or equivalent work experience.
• Must have background experience in the areas of accounting and data processing.
• Must have adequate level of computer literacy to use programs required by OTS, especially programs related to word processing, spreadsheets and email.
• Able to accurately enter, understand, and process transit information using required programs by OTS.
• Must be willing and able to learn the basics of transportation planning for reporting purposes.
• Able to proficiently operate software used by OTS and have a rudimentary knowledge of data processing.

Other Job Requirement & Conditions:

• Must have strong aptitude for attention to detail.
• Must be willing and able to work with minimum supervision on weekends, nights, and split shifts (inside and outside regular office functions).
• Must have and must be able to maintain a valid "Type 3" driver's license with a good driving abstract and have access to a vehicle for transportation to various checkpoints around the island.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully and work harmoniously with fellow employees and the general public.
• Must be able to pass a Company?sponsored drug test.
