y is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Temp Assistant to join an established power company. This six-month role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your HR skills while supporting vital functions within the HR Service Center. If you're organized, customer-focused, and ready to contribute to a collaborative team, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
  • Provide timely and professional responses to HR inquiries via phone and email, ensuring confidentiality and excellent customer service.
  • Manage our HR case management system, accurately tracking and following up on employee questions and requests.
  • Support onboarding activities, including communicating with new hires, processing New Hire documentation, and ensuring compliance with I-9 and E-Verify requirements.
  • Enter and maintain personnel records, supporting smooth HR operations.
  • Uphold a high standard of accuracy and discretion in handling sensitive information.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional customer service focus with a professional approach.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes or office support experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in HR, administration, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience with HR systems or applicant tracking software.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience supporting HR or administrative functions in a fast-paced organization.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM).
  • Ability to work on-site, downtown, Honolulu.



Additional Job Details

  • Pay: $18/hr.

  • Temporary for a minimum time period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

  • Parking is not included. Paid options in the area are available.
