Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented AuditSenior Associate to join our Boston office. This hybrid role involves leading audit engagements, applying technical expertise in public accounting, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards. The ideal candidate will have progressive public accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while contributing to team development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
Perform in-depth analytical procedures and substantive testing
Apply US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards consistently
Prepare and review audit workpapers, reports, and financial statements
Communicate audit findings clearly to clients and internal teams
Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities
Participate in audit automation and digitization initiatives (preferred)
Mentor and support junior team members (preferred)
Required Qualifications
CPA certification or eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience with in-charge auditing
Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with audit automation and digitization tools
Prior team management or supervisory experience
