Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior ICAM Architect to work for our company.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a recognized Authority in Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM). You will serve as the technical conscience of the program, ensuring all custom and COTS solutions aligned with federal mandates (HSPD-12, NIST 800-63, OMB directives). You will provide deep expertise in PIV, PKI, OAuth, OIDC, and Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), guiding the evolution of the agency's identity ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- ICAM Strategy: Apply in-depth knowledge of the FICAM Roadmap and Implementation Guidance to drive program architecture.
- Advanced Solutioning: Design and architect solutions for Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Federation, and Privileged Access Management (PAM) using both custom Java solutions and industry-standard COTS products.
- PKI & PIV Management: Oversee the modernization of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Management, and PIV-enablement for privileged and non-privileged users.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all implementations meet DHS policy (4300A), Zero Trust principles, and Section 508 compliance.
- Certification (Mandatory): Must possess at least one of the following: Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), CISSP, GIAC Defensible Identity and Access Management (GDA), Certified Access Management Specialist (CAMS), or CompTIA Security+.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Federal PKI, PIV, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and Active Directory (Entra).
- Hybrid Experience: Experience with both custom development (Java-based ICAM) and integrating COTS identity platforms.
- SME Presentation: You will be critical during the Oral Presentation. You must demonstrate the ability to assess a complex ICAM failure scenario, identify weaknesses, and propose a technically sound solution live to the client.
