Senior Property Accountant up to $115,000/yr
A property investment and development company is looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to become part of their team. The position provides the chance to oversee accounting tasks for a portfolio of intricate, mixed-use properties, aiding in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and additional responsibilities. You will work alongside property management and finance teams in a lively, rapid-moving setting with numerous chances for career advancement.
What the job offers:
- Compensation up to $115,000/year
- Bonus 10% of base salary

- Hybrid schedule - 3 days in office and 2 days remote
- Manage day-to-day accounting for properties
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
- Oversee cash receipts and monitor outstanding receivables in coordination with property management
- Review and approve invoices using Nexus (AP software)
- Prepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance), property tax, and utility reimbursements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing lender and audit reporting packages
- Coordinate with joint venture partners and lease administration teams to ensure financial accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of real estate accounting experience
- Proficiency in property management/ERP software, ideally Yardi Voyager
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Office tools
- CPA is a plus
- Experience working with mixed-use properties
- Experience with paperless AP systems is a plus
