Join our team as a part-time Custodian at a warehouse located in Honolulu, HI 96819. This position involves constant walking, standing, moving, good communication skills and a strong customer service aptitude. While previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or related fields is beneficial, we are willing to provide training. Applicants must be capable of performing basic manual labor, including lifting, pushing, and pulling at least 30 to 50 lbs. Candidates should also be prepared to routinely bend, squat, and stretch during their shifts and maintain a fast pace while walking. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Communicate effectively and understand English
• Clean warehouse, restrooms, and office spaces
• Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning
• Restroom cleaning and restock supplies
• Sweep, mop, interior and exterior floors, clean glass doors and mirrors
• Clean and disinfect surfaces that are being touched frequently
• Clean and wipe down all tables and chairs
• Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas
• Lift trash from bins, bend, and navigate staircases
• Push trash bins as needed

Schedule: The candidate is responsible for cleaning two different properties: Monday to Friday: 12pm-2pm and 3pm-5pm

Compensation: $18.00/per hour

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must pass background check
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Must have good public relations skills and communication
• Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, frequently press, lift, push, pull, carry a minimum of 30lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk, stair and ladder climbing and stand throughout their shifts.
