This position is assigned to the Fleet & Family Readiness Division, Navy Region Hawaii; Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) Logistics/Warehouse department (N944) located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on Pearl Harbor, HI (Oahu). The primary responsibility is to perform a full range of warehouse functions.
Physical effort includes standing on hard surfaces for extended periods, bending, stooping, and working in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable positions. You may lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds; heavier items are moved with weight?handling equipment or with assistance from other workers. Working conditions may be performed inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lit. Protective clothing may be required.
This position does not have a positive education requirement.
Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements. The selectee may be required to complete a one?year probationary period. Participation in Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer within the first 30 days of employment is required. The agency utilizes E?Verify to confirm the selectees eligibility to work in the United States.
