About the Role: As a Retail Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both associates and customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a visible presence at store entrances/exits to deter theft and fraud.
• Greeting customers warmly and demonstrating a friendly demeanor to enhance their shopping experience.
• Monitoring compliance with company policies, including the Code 50 package inspection policy.
• Conducting store walks to identify and address potential theft indicators as directed by store leadership.
• Partnering with store leadership to minimize operational shortages and ensure adherence to Loss Prevention directives.

Key Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in retail supervision or relevant training preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention/security training is a plus.
• Active Security Guard License is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Proven capability to build relationships with the store team and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions.

Physical Requirements:

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing and moving around the store.
• Ability to lift and lower objects over 25 lbs.
• Capacity to regularly bend, stoop, or crouch as required by daily business needs.
