Responsible for the Grounds Maintenance of MTA Common Areas

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs tasks to maintain and upkeep the common areas of Mililani Town Association
• Operates lawn care equipment such push mowers, blowers, line trimmers, and edgers
• Operates various gardening hand tools and small powered equipment such as backpack blowers, hand held blowers, loppers and hand pruners, extension pruning pole, hedge trimmers, and weeders
• Weeding and mulching of planter beds as assigned
• Planting and landscape renovations as directed by Landscape Manager
• Debris removal on MTA Common Areas
• Fertilizing as assigned by Landscape Manager
• Watering and minor irrigation repairs
• Cleans and stores MTA Landscape equipment properly

Skills/Knowledge:
• Must be able to demonstrate safe and proper use of landscape equipment satisfactorily
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages to ensure proper dosage of material applied to landscape is in accordance with labeling

Education/Experience:
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or one to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses:
• Valid Driver's License required
