California Employment Law Attorney Opportunity

We are seeking a California-barred attorney with a passion for employee advocacy to join this innovative team on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity is fully remote, allowing you to thrive from anywhere in California while making a meaningful impact for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side employment matters, including wage and hour, discrimination, and wrongful termination cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and handle discovery.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing high-quality service and guidance throughout their legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented group of attorneys and paralegals, contributing to a positive, inclusive culture.

Requirements:

• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
• 1+ year of employment law experience, preferably on the plaintiff side (wage & hour, discrimination, wrongful termination, FEHA, PAGA, FLSA, etc.).
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a remote environment.
• Commitment to upholding the values and culture of a supportive team.
