Job Summary
Performs a variety of food preparation and service functions.
Primary Responsibilities
* Sets up food service and kitchen area facilities, equipment, and utensils, under detailed instruction and, in accordance with specific area needs.
* Assists in the preparation of hot and cold meat and vegetable dishes, beverages, salads, sandwiches, simple bakery items, salad dressings, and/or other similar food items, as appropriate to the position.
* Follows prescribed procedures in setting up hot and cold food lines.
* Cleans, washes, and maintains sanitary work areas.
* Interacts with customers to take orders, receive payments, and answer questions.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
All student employees who work at Food Services will receive a free meal for every shift worked.
