We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join a leading healthcare organization. This role is critical in supporting members and providers by handling inquiries, appeals, and grievances with professionalism and accuracy. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
+ Handle intake of member and provider calls, emails, faxes, and internal referrals; evaluate information and determine the best course of action.
+ Analyze sensitive member and provider appeals, inquiries, and grievances, applying internal policies, contractual provisions, and regulatory requirements.
+ Create and maintain accurate electronic case files within required timeframes.
+ Communicate professionally with internal and external customers to resolve complex issues.
+ Triage cases during initial inquiry to resolve issues promptly and minimize escalation.
+ Consistently produce accurate, high-quality work, especially in data entry tasks.
Requirements
+ Associate's degree and one (1) year of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
+ Familiarity with business processes and analysis functions, or experience in health insurance/managed care systems.
+ 1+ years of customer service experience.
+ 1+ years of experience in writing and editing.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to handle phone calls as part the daily responsibilities.
+ Ability to work in person from Monday to Friday at 8:00am to 5:00pm HST.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
