What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents.
+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
+ Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and providing directions to visitors and staff as needed.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as required to support a secure environment.
Minimum Requirements:
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
