Job Title: Supply Specialist

Location: Honolulu, HI

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Shift: 8-hour day shifts, including consecutive Saturdays

Minimum Experience Required: 3 Years

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
• Procurement: Sourcing and purchasing goods and services needed for operations.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinating the transportation and delivery of goods.
• Vendor Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Streamlining processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Forecasting and Planning: Predicting demand and planning accordingly to prevent shortages.
• Quality Control: Ensuring that all incoming supplies meet quality standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on supply chain performance.

• Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Some positions may require a master's degree or professional certifications.
• Experience: Typically, 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management or related fields. Experience with procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination is highly valued.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with vendors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues in the supply chain process and develop solutions to address them.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing inventory, documentation, and procurement processes.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools.
• Negotiation Skills: Capability to negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
