Aloha! "Rokkaku Hamakatsu" is looking for a part-time Dishwasher who can work on Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. We are excited to add team members who are motivated, result-oriented, and 100% reliable!

The purpose of this position is to wash and clean utensils, tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Ensures to keep the dish, equipment, and kitchen clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Collect used kitchenware from kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate dishes).
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary.
• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.

Requirements:

• Must be friendly and hardworking.
• Must have a POSITIVE attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand/walk/bend/stoop/climb/push/pull/twist/stretch/squat/reach, carries and lift up to 70lbs.
• Must have a ability to walk/stands/move during the entire shift.
• Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
• Able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long period of time.
• Able to understand and follow the work schedule.
• Must wear nonslip shoes at all times.
• Able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
