This recruitment is being conducted under the Operation Hire Hawaii (OH-HI) project, a targeted outreach initiative featuring an expedited hiring process that fast-tracks qualified applicants into job opportunities throughout Hawai'i.

Position: Auditor III, Department of Taxation, Hilo.
Salary: $4,961 to $6,043 per month (SR-20, Step D to I).
Professional auditing work involving the examination of accounts to render an opinion regarding the financial position and operations of governmental agencies, individuals, and business entities. The Auditor III performs moderately difficult tasks by conducting examinations of smaller agencies or business entities and auditing primarily one aspect of fiscal work for both small and large agencies; will assist higher-level auditors on more complex assignments and perform other duties as assigned.
