Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineer

Job
Summary: MOT Engineer provides field review and oversight of the construction contractor's traffic management and maintenance of traffic plans to ensure compliance with the contract requirement. MOT Engineer is responsible for tracking all submittal review times and permit expiration date to maintain contractors' compliance during construction. MOT Engineer coordinates internal and externally on all Traffic related issues along the corridor.

  particular attention to detail.

• Effective
  listening abilities with strong judgment and communication skills

• Knowledge
  of business vocabulary and terminology specific to design/construction/development

• Experience with construction plans and understanding traffic
  control plans

• Experience on construction sites

Minimum
requirements:

• Valid
  driver's license

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university

• Experience in transportation engineering is required

• Client Acceptance: Must be accepted by the client for the specific project.
