Core Impact Areas
- Safety Program Excellence & Implementation – Drive safety programs, conduct audits, investigations, risk assessments, and deliver engaging training.
- Associate Advocacy & Cultural Leadership – Act as a trusted safety advisor, build partnerships, promote a safety‑first culture, and transform data into actionable insights.
Additional Job Elements Include
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours during shifts.
- Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures (including outdoor loading).
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (if applicable).
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Locations and Placement
- This role will start between January 2026 and September 2026.
- Full‑time position located in a fulfilment center, sort center, or delivery station; not a corporate or remote role.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement all aspects of Amazon's Global Safety Program.
- Identify and inform management of compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through audits.
- Facilitate incident investigation processes.
- Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments (Job Hazard Analysis).
- Record safety incident information in internal databases promptly.
- Lead process improvements and manage actions to completion.
- Train and assist team members to complete safety tasks.
- Perform required safety training as per Safety Manager.
- Provide oversight for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and related activities.
- Recommend risk mitigation measures, including ergonomics.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (all requirements met before first day).
Preferred Qualifications
- Studying a degree in Health Science, Safety Engineering, Health & Safety, Safety Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Interest or prior experience in safety‑related employment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Base salary range: Colorado $58,200–$69,500 annually; National $52,400–$76,500 annually. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and more.
