Area Director of Sales – Hilton Hawaiian Village & Hilton Waikoloa Village
Base pay range: $200,000 – $250,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Lead the group, transient, and catering sales teams at one or both properties, deploying strategic business plans that deliver on annual budgets and crossover targets.
- Oversee commercial strategies, improve sales performance through the alignment of strategy and business processes across Rooms, Catering, and Events.
- Provide a predictive and prescriptive cadence of activities to drive revenue growth and meet Direct Selling Revenue Targets (group rooms, banquets, catering, business/transient, leisure/transient).
- Collaborate in the development and execution of the hotel's Annual Multi‑Year Strategic Intentions and Commercial Strategy.
- Ensure alignment of Business Review Guidelines, Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies, and Retail and Group pricing targets with the hotel's overall profitability goals (GOP, EBITDA).
- Operate within departmental expense budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to knowledge of competitor and market activity, sustain accurate revenue forecasts, and execute demand‑period strategies.
- Lead daily and weekly business review and sales strategy meetings.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual APEX performance processes with eligible sales team members.
- Develop and oversee sales site‑visit strategies and approaches in collaboration with the DOSM.
- Maintain compliance with Hilton brand standards, corporate identity, and communication tools.
- Recruit, retain, and develop all sales roles; conduct performance reviews and career development plans for direct and dotted‑line reports (Group Sales, Business Transient Sales, Leisure Sales, Catering Sales, Contract/PERM Sales).
- Lead a culture aligned with Hilton's DEI and ESG enterprise goals.
- Contribute to hotel performance and commercial activity reporting; liaise with Hilton Worldwide Sales, local CVB, and third‑party travel partners.
- Support high‑level customer engagement, including site visits, pre‑convention meetings, and sales managers' travel to market.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years in hospitality sales & marketing leadership or cross‑functional hotel management.
- Preferred: Advanced coursework in business administration, marketing, and communications.
- Experience in business strategy, business planning, and business plan development.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- Multiple brand experience.
- Proficiency in Delphi FDC preferred.
