GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Under the general supervision of Dr. Amy Hubbard in Student Academic Success, a Graduate Research Assistant is needed for the Mai O A O grant. Position is a half-time (50% FTE) 11-month appointment starting on January 1, 2026 or shortly thereafter. This is a temporary appointment for the Spring 2026 semester, but depending on availability of funds, satisfactory job performance and the needs of the project, appointment may continue through the end of the project period of September 30, 2026. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide one-on-one coaching on public speaking and other communication skills. Assist with virtual reality public speaking lab. Conduct communication skills workshops/trainings. Assist with science fair. Assist with research study on effectiveness of communication skills training.
