Pay Rate: $25hr

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Per Diem Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in venipuncture and specimen collection and be comfortable working in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and patient homes. This is a flexible, on-call position based on client needs and your availability.


Responsibilities:

• Perform venipunctures and capillary blood collections following proper procedures
  
  
• Verify patient identification and accurately label specimens
  
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following infection control protocols
  
  
• Handle and transport specimens safely and according to policy
  
  
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
  
  
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
  
  
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and safety
  
  
• Adapt to various environments and work independently or as part of a team
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
  
• Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy training program
  
  
• Current Phlebotomy certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent) preferred
  
  
• Minimum of 6 months of recent phlebotomy experience
  
  
• Current CPR certification
  
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if traveling between sites or to patient homes)
  
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
  
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to short-notice assignments
