Visitor Information Program Assistant I

The Visitor Information Program Assistant I is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and assisting the traveling public at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, for providing information of interest to visitors to encourage travel to the major islands in the Hawaiian chain; and for incidentally performing various clerical duties and other related duties as assigned.

To qualify, applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements: Basic Experience: Applicants must possess experience which demonstrated the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions, and a high degree of verbal skill. This requirement may also be met with the possession of a high school diploma or equivalent. General Experience: One (1) year of work experience which demonstrated positive evidence that applicants possess patience, tact, and an even temper in meeting and dealing with others. Driver's License: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
