Performs a variety of functions, including but not limited to instrument processing; inventory, supply, and distribution; equipment collection and delivery; cleaning and sterilization functions in Sterile Processing and OR Core or department as assigned. - Performs duties in accordance with Body Substance Isolation, established departmental policies, procedures and accepted techniques. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Essential: standing, walking, kneeling, twisting body, finger dexterity, seeing ,hearing, speaking, stooping/bending, lifting usual weight of 15 pounds up to maximum of 50 pounds; pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force; carrying maximum weight of 50 pounds, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. - Occasional: sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, reaching at and below shoulder level. - Operates all sterilizers, computers, printers, all washers, copier, fax, steam and air gun.
