Security Officer - Retail Patrol Unit

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related risks.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the location.

+ Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and management to address concerns and provide information as needed.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points in accordance with site policies.

+ Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with Allied Universal and local authorities when required.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
