Job Location: Waikiki, Honolulu
Compensation: $19/hour
Employment Type: Temp to Hire - Full Time
Work Schedule: 19 hours/week (6AM-10AM OR 1PM-5PM)

Coordinator (Temporary, Potential for Full-Time)

A Rent-a-Car department is seeking a Coordinator to assist with reservations, customer service, and basic office tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle rent-a-car reservations, walk-ins, and customer inquiries
  • Explain rental policies, process payments, and complete paperwork
  • Resolve minor issues, support emergencies, and report incidents
  • Perform basic revenue tracking and daily reporting
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience in travel industry or similar
  • Bilingual: English & Japanese
  • Knowledge of Japanese culture/etiquette a plus
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)
  • Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean abstract
  • Able to work weekends/holidays as needed

Work Environment:
Air-conditioned office at Hyatt Centric; occasional outdoor/field activity.
