The primary role of the Master Scheduler is to schedule all major work (capital and O&M) for Energy Delivery (Oahu, Maui County, and Hawaii) to avoid scheduling conflicts, avoid project delays, ensure adequate resources are allocated to meet required timelines, maximize the amount of work performed in holdoffs and create cost savings in the execution of work. The Master Scheduler will analyze resource leveling reports (labor supply and demand) and determine whether the work should be done by Company crews or contracted to outside services to meet schedule objectives cost?effectively. The Master Scheduler will be the main point of contact to communicate when work is to occur in Energy Delivery and will facilitate such communication with his/her tools that are aligned with project management best practices. To fulfill these responsibilities, the Master Scheduler is empowered to manage work priority, engage various stakeholders of the Energy Delivery work, obtain necessary project and work information, and provide scheduling direction to Energy Delivery leaders and Resource Planners.
