Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.

Position ScopeProvides props and equipment in the manner instructed and/or required to maintain the quality of the production supported.Checks props for damage prior to the start of each show and replaces any prop that appears to be defective or too worn, and checks stage for problems and unsafe conditions.Makes and repairs props and constructs stages and sets.Requirements

Must be knowledgeable of theatrical stage set-up techniques, and be familiar with the various props and equipment used.

Must have good eye sight, hearing and manual dexterity, and be capable of a full range of body movement.

Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.

Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Should have a high school education.

Should have one year of stage related work experience.

Must submit Fall 2025 semester class schedule (weekly view) and resume.

Work Schedule
15 hours

Monday & Friday 11:20-1:20pm & 5:25-9:15pm

Tuesday & Wednesday OFF

Thursday & Saturday 5:25-9:15pm

Base Rate Per Hour
$14.00

Approximate starting hourly rate:

$14.00 - $16.00

The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.
