Loan Officer Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and licensed Loan Officer Assistant to join our Honolulu, HI Retail team to help support our increased volume for that branch. Responsibilities

Supports a senior sales manager of the branch by managing the loan file from application thru closing, in a way that allows the sales manager and sales team of the branch to originate more loans. The duties for the Assistant include, but are not limited to, those described below.

  • Manages all clerical tasks necessary to facilitate timely loan closings on behalf and as directed by manager.
  • Have a current, valid NMLS appointment and appropriate State licensing in good standing.
  • Assigns loan files.
  • Maintains document mailing/conversation log in LOS as directed.
  • Splits and stacks loan docs.
  • Provides overflow doc drawing support as needed or directed by supervisor.
  • Departmental filing.
  • Performs variety of PTF functions including but not limited to VOE, VOM, VOD.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one to two years of operations and drawing loan docs (or comparable experience)
  • NMLS active license for this role preferred - not required
  • Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent analytical, written communication and verbal communication skills.
  • Technologically proficient
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Min USD $60,000.00/Yr.

Max USD $70,000.00/Yr.
