AI Finance Senior – Tech Consulting (Location Open)

Role Summary

The AI Finance Senior works closely with the Finance Applications Data Lead, the Data Lead, and the Product Owner to execute the data management strategy for finance applications. The role applies expertise in finance planning, reporting, close/consolidation, enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to deliver an industry‑agnostic data model that ensures data consistency and interoperability across finance applications.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance, IT, and data science teams to manage and utilize finance application data.
• Drive innovation and business value using Machine Learning, Gen AI, and Azure data technologies.
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, translating requirements into technical specifications.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Partner with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
• Tailor technology platforms to align with business processes and objectives.
• Support the Data Management Strategy Execution for finance applications.
• Define data requirements, architecture, and models, considering ML and Gen AI potentials.
• Lead the design and implementation of an extensible common information model for the FDL Blueprint.
• Develop and maintain documentation: data dictionaries, entity–relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps.
• Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMEs to identify and implement ML and Gen AI techniques.
• Establish and maintain a robust data governance framework for the FDL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with ~3 years of related work experience, or graduate degree with ~2 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data management, including at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modeling, and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, master data management.
• Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI, and Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, MS SQL, Python).
• Knowledge of finance applications (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and modeling tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Ideally You'll Also Have

• Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with experience in finance data management, modeling, and ML.
