At HDR, Senior Strategic Communications Creative Coordinators are key cogs in the project delivery process. Serving as both a liaison between the creative and project management teams and as a working visual designer, Senior Creative Coordinators act as the point-of-contact for creative services on major engineering and architecture projects. An effective Senior Creative Coordinator facilitates the development of a product throughout its lifecycle, "pulling the strings" to ensure the project is created and managed on time and to client satisfaction. A Senior Creative Coordinator with visual design skills elevates our design and process and provides additional strategy and quality to our project delivery. A key aspect of the role is to manage review processes during project material development, consolidate comments and edits, streamline the revision process to eliminate unnecessary back-and-forth, while also contributing to the visual language and graphic design of the finished product.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience.
8+ years related experience in a role focused on communication strategy, visual design, or media coordination.
A portfolio of relevant design and digital engagement work is required for consideration.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite print and digital design required.
Experience designing and supporting social media or digital engagement campaigns.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Service- and client-oriented personality with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and set and meet deadlines.
Ability to work well independently or in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel (up to 5% of the time).
Working knowledge of local, state and federal requirements for public involvement.
Demonstrated interest in ongoing training/education to stay relevant with rapid technological changes.
