RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY:

• Serves as a consultant and resource to The Queen's Health Systems (QHS) executive management in planning and execution of corporate strategic programs and activities.

• Supports the development of strategic and business plans and presentations for deliberation by executive management and the Board of Trustees.

• Coordinates strategic system-wide communication to assure effectiveness of communications throughout QHS.

• Leads the coordination and execution of special projects as assigned.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, healthcare, or related field; or four (4) years of progressively responsible experience involving planning, project management or analysis may be substituted for educational requirement.

• Master's degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred.

B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• No certification and/or licensure requirement.

C. EXPERIENCE:

• In addition to the educational requirement, three (3) years experience in strategic and business planning and analysis, supporting and coordinating organization-wide projects and initiatives, preferably in a comparable organization.

• Prior experience working with trustees, community organizations and/or interactions with senior executives.

• Ability to establish excellent collaborative working relationships and strategic partnerships with individuals and teams at various levels and from various fields of expertise, including executive leadership.

• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in business computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

• Knowledge of organizational design, broad strategy concepts and project management principles.

• Working knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred.
